Let's all wear to school any combination of Green-White-Red in honor of Iran's flag!

Color-of-Flag day at CPS is a symbolic gesture of respect to the flag and Iranian heritage.
In the Iranian calendar, this date is close to the "Mehregan" celebration, the "National Day of Love".
Students, parents, and teachers are encouraged to include colors of Iranian flag in their outfit. This is an optional activity and no one should feel obligated.
Teachers will explain the meaning of each color in our flag during the class time on Sunday and do related class activities.
We prefer that actual flags are not brought to school.
